Simplicity In Spirit

My family moved to the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan when I was five years old from Detroit. I spent my childhood through my 20's in the U.P. When I was ready, I attended Northern Michigan University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Health and Fitness Management.  My love for the outdoors and education led me to Missoula, Montana to attend a graduate program in Health Promotion/Education, graduating in 2001 with my Master's of Science Degree. In 2006 I moved to New York City to follow another dream/calling of mine, to live in a big city and attend seminary. In 2008 I was ordained by the New Seminary of Interfaith Studies. I continue to study and add to my tool bag. I recently graduated from the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy as a certified health coach. I also work with individuals and couples in transformational energy/journey healing (Shamanic Healing).

 

After living in New York City, traveling the country, some of the world, and spending the better part of 14 years in Montana, I followed my heart to Sandpoint Idaho and then to Coeur d’Alene, where I now reside full time with my partner and love of my life. I love the Inland Northwest and service areas of Northwest Idaho, Washington, and Montana.

 

I currently work for Hospice of North Idaho as their Spiritual Care Coordinator and Chaplain. One of my favorite questions to ask my patients, especially the ones who have been married for many many years, is: “What is your secret for staying together so long?” The answers I receive never cease to amaze me. 

 

I love the outdoors where I hike, mountain bike, road bike, ski, and spend time with my partner and best friend. He and I enjoy doing these things together and much more.  My passions include writing, creating beautiful meals, nutrition, health, happiness, and working with people in groups and one-on-one.  I am a natural coach and love working with people.
